No, we are not an agency. We’re an integrated self-serve platform that connects families with independent caregivers and companions who wish to provide private in-home care services. And we’re roughly 30% to 40% less money than a traditional agency.
You can find locally-certified PSWs, caring companions, and those with international credentials in the care industry, and each caregiver could offer a range of services. But you’ll only see the list of caregivers who meet your needs and schedule when you book an appointment
Yes, you can hire caregivers for overnight shifts. Just click on the moon icon next to your chosen date when you book an appointment to see the list of available overnight caregivers.
Nursing care, such as wound dressing, medication administration, physical exams and assessing vitals, is not currently available.
Tip: If you only require nursing care occasionally, book only specific nursing services using traditional channels and book caregivers via the MF Homecare app for all other
duties, which will save you a significant amount of money!
Prior to completing the setup of their profiles, caregivers undergo an identity verification and a profile vetting process. Also, you can review ratings and reviews of the caregivers themselves — a feature that separates us from traditional agencies where the reviews are generally for the company. Finally, our network is set up to elevate caregivers with good reviews, so it’s in their best interests to deliver great service.
We limit access to client information only to employees who need it to perform their job duties, such as offering technical help or maintaining our database. We use different access levels, passwords, encryption and other security measures to prevent unauthorized access.
MF Homecare does not store passwords or credit card information on its servers. All financial transactions are securely processed, tokenized and encrypted via Stripe.
